Cell Technology Platforms
HanBio develops proprietary cell platforms across three strategic areas: dermal papilla cells, stem cells, and NK cells. Each platform is designed around the same operating principles: source-cell selection, controlled culture, scalable expansion, cryopreservation, quality testing, and application-specific development.
Dermal Papilla Cells
For hair regeneration research and follicle biology
Dermal papilla cells are specialized cells located at the base of the hair follicle and are involved in regulating hair growth, follicle cycling, hair thickness, and density. HanBio’s DPC platform focuses on overcoming key industry challenges such as small tissue size, low initial yield, and loss of functionality during expansion.
Stem Cells
For regenerative health and cell preservation
HanBio’s stem cell platform focuses on adipose-derived stem cell isolation, mass culture, cryopreservation, and identity/purity testing. The company’s materials emphasize large-scale culture of young passage cells and quality control using marker-based analysis
NK Cells
For immune-focused cell care
NK cells are key innate immune cells involved in recognizing abnormal cells. HanBio’s NK cell platform emphasizes feeder-free, non-genetically modified culture methods, large-scale expansion, and cryopreservation.
